George Bush

George Herbert Walker Bush, 41st President of the United States, led America through a period of unparalleled change. The Cold War was won, Germany was unified, the threat of nuclear war was all but eliminated, the Soviet Union was replaced by a democratic Russia, and age-old enemies began discussing a lasting peace in the Middle East. Before being elected President, George Bush represented Texas in the House of Representatives, headed the CIA, and served as Vice President under Ronald Reagan.
